November 2024.  The everyday and especi ally academic misuse of the word and concept "education" has serious theoretical and practical conse.quences.  One such consequence leads to the study of edducation  as an applied field relying on borrowed categories and criteria borrowed from philosophy, psychology, etc. at the expense of studying education as a full-fledged academic discipline with its own categories and criteria.
